Do you know what happened on the beaches of Normandy or anywhere else there was battle on the D-Day? If you don't or even if you do you should read this book.

This book tells many different stories about what actually happened on D-Day. Like the one about D-D tanks. Or the story about where the paratrooper got stuck on a church bell tower and was shot while hanging there.

My favorite part was when some paratroopers attacked a German town. One of the paratroopers got caught on a church bell tower. He played dead while he hung there. He was doing just fine until he coughed. Then a German sniper in the tower shot him but the shot only hit him in the foot. That was my favorite part of the book.

The main idea or theme of the book was to tell the truth about what actually happened on D-Day. All you need to know before reading this book is a little background information on the war and the general location of the Normandy beaches.

This is a really good book. It tells the truth about what really happened on D-Day. This book caught my eye with the picture of the landing boat and the phrase D-Day. I also like stories about wars.
