DJ Krust records have become a staple crop for tech step drum and bass DJ's these days and when I saw a record that I didn't own yet, I ordered it, no questions asked. I definately don't regret it, but I was a little disappointed, considering the quality of some of his other works. The "True Stories" side is a mellow, dark, drum and bass track. It's a good track, but there's no break in the middle, which makes it very hard to mix unless you want to play the whole thing. The B side is a little heavier and upbeat. It has a couple breaks in the middle for easy mixing, but compared to tracks like "Warhead" it's not all that hot. In Krust's defense, this is from 1998, so he's progressed a bit since then. Overall a good record, but this one's definately not my fave. If you're not familiar with Krust, try "Warhead" like I said before. It's yummy...

Amazon has wax y'all, picked up True Stories by DJ Krust. I believe this came out right after "Warhead" (1998). This is a chill piece compared to some of his other stuff. Both are over 10 minutes long, heres the rundown.

A/True Stories: Very laid back rolling number, almost like sitting on the porch sipping on lemonaide. Good sequencing on the drums, and distorted b-lines. No real breakdown on this one.

B/Cold War: I like this one a little more, drums for days, evil samples, a nice big BREAK in the middle, and hella bass.
