5.0 out of 5 stars circus in town, October 3, 2000
By A Customer
the world inferno is an amazing bunch of people and this album shows it.as someone who lives in jersey, i relate and almost believe what they're saying. this album is the score to a play about the sudden disappearance of the indiginous punks of nj.it's an involved story that takes us from the woods of bridgewater to the astral plane with our friend and leader- john gilch.besides the story-you can always count on the inferno's sound to swing. if satan were a game show host he would sound just like our humble narrator and singer, and the band-orchestra rather-will lure you away with angel trumpets and devil trombones.i cant say enough for this gang. as good as this album is, anyone who's seen them live knows that's really the only way to go-it's just not the same without the fire! listen and dream of running away with the circus or gypsys-or just getting the hell out of new jersey.

5.0 out of 5 stars Frenetic Joy, June 10, 2008
This review is from: The True Story Of The Bridgewater Astral League (MP3 Download)
This album hooked me from the first time I listened to it. It has flavors of ska and punk, a hint of The B-52s, and a delicious aftertaste of an effervescent nihilism.

5.0 out of 5 stars Unbelievable!, August 31, 1999

This is one of the best and most original albums I have ever heard! The combination instuments and creative vocals along with wild live performances should insure this band and cd's success. Truly Evil!

5.0 out of 5 stars Wicked!, November 24, 2002

Inferno albums are fantastic, but they just don't do this group justice. If you're an open-minded music lover, this record is for you. (And if you don't mind fire spitting and ridiculous anecdotes, check out one of the shows!)

5.0 out of 5 stars awesome, November 16, 1998

this band is going places. it's an incredible mix of jamiriquai style funk and something totally different. The keyboard player Scott Hollingsworth is not only one of the greatest talents of the 90s but he's also a real hunk.
