2.0 out of 5 stars A true story about someone stubborn, March 7, 2002
By A Customer
The true story of Lilli Stubeck was really boring and tedious and there was not much of a point to read it. NOT A GOOD BOOK!

2.0 out of 5 stars The true Story of Lilli Stubeck, June 11, 2002
A Kid's Review
This book would be suitable for 12-14 years old. It is a book on the subject of suitability and growing up. Although it is slightly hard to start to read this book, it teaches about the views of society at the time.
Set in the Australian town of Saint Helen this story revolves around the character of Lilli Stubeck. Lilli is a determined girl, born into a family of gypsies, and this book is the story of certain events in her childhood such as the purchasing of Lilli by the rich and refined woman Miss Dalgleish. From there on the story revolves about the conflicts in Lilli's life.
This story is written from the view of the outsider Kit Quayle and this is good as you can see other peoples aspects on things.
