The chart is excellant, helpful and descriptive, it shows what to do with your instrument to use for the note that you require such as all three fingers down for a Bb Trumpet to get a b note, can use for cornet and others also, all on one chart - great concept. Can be placed on the wall so that your child can use it to understand how to play first time instrument. I bought this product for my son who is 11 and he can understand what he needs, he is a first time learner and will learn more as he understands the notes. So this item will continue with him as he learns more.
I must say that the packaging from Amazon is the best, all books come with air wrap and in a box to fit so that the books etc.., are not damaged in anyway. This is an excellen quick reference to having trumpet fingerings when you immediately need them.

The "Trumpet Fingering Chart" by Amsco Productions, is three-page wide chart, (24 3/4" x 11 3/4) which folds into thirds, (8 1/4 x 11 3/4). It is crisply printed on a high quality, plastic-type paper that should hold up to a lifetime of use, and can easily slip into a trumpet case. The fingering range goes from a low f# below the staff, to a high d natural above the staff. On the back side, the chart also provides information about notation, such as: Dotted Double Bars, First and Second Endings, D.C., D.C. al Fine, D.S., D.S. al Fine, D.S. al Coda, and more. It also includes information on taking care of your trumpet, such as: Putting the Instrument Together, Cleaning, Storing. If you are considering purchasing this Trumpet Fingering Chart, just do it! For around $4.00 US dollars it was everything I thought it should be.It's plastic sealed and very ledgable to read. After so many years of being away from my trumpet,it's visual clarety realy helped in getting my lip(musical armacher)back.I'd buy it again if needed.Also fits on the wall well as a poster.Very Happy!

Purchased this along with a trumpet from Amazon and my son found this very helpful. Chart shows how to achieve the required notes by illustrating which buttons should be pressed. Chart is approximetly 8.5x11 and laminated for durablility. Chart consists of 3 sections that fold into 1.

I'm a beginning horn player. I'm not sure I really needed this, but someone recommended it to me, and I bought it. It's a tough laminated fold-out chart. It folds up to the size of a sheet of typing paper. Lots of information on it.

The AMSCO trumpet fingering chart covers the majority of the three valve brass instruments and is printed on a heavy card stock with a durable plastic coating. This makes it a very durable and usefull teaching aid.

Good quality card, with beautiful illustrations of a trumpet, but the fingering chart, which ois why you bought it in the first place, is so small you can't read it from more than a metre away.

This fingering chart is on very high quality laminated paper that will last for years and years. The chart is big and clear. Excellent product.

While learning to play the trumpet, I keep this booklet right near my music stand as a reference tool. When I come across a note on the music that I do not yet know, or a note on which I have forgotten the fingering, it becomes my instant referral source. While the same information is in a lot of books on how to play the trumpet, I find this booklet to be concise, sturdy, and easy to use.
