Darryl Sims does a wonderful job highlighting the state of emergency for African American males living in the U.S. Through the many different sermons all the issues are brought to the forefront that Black men must deal with daily. The contributors are quite forthright in their attack on racism and other socio political realities that prevent Black men from reaching their fullest potential in this country. I highly recommend this book to anyone who wants to be encouraged and informed and empowered through the words on the pages.
