This is vintage Maurice Andre, recorded when his piccolotrumpet playing was at its peak. The final track, Martini's "Elevazione", displays much of For the trumpeter, this is a lesson in baroque performance

If you listen to the CD reasonably closely, you can hear Maurice being picked up not only by his mic, but by one of the mics for the pipes. This only occurs when Maurice is playing loudly, but the effect is a slight out of tune delay; almost the sound when two trumpets play in unison and almost in tune. For me, it ruined the cd because if you can't hear Maurices natural sound, whats the use?
