Activities in this Trumpet of the Swan Teacher's guide are described for each chapter. A large variety of activities incorporating the multiple intelligences and Bloom's questioning schema are provided making it easy to facilitate literature circles. My 5th-6th grade special educcation students became readers outside of the classroom eager to have class time to do the variety of vocabulary, music, art and comprehension activties.
Highly recommended as it did all the lesson planning for me!
