Any band named FOOT FOOT deserves at least a listen....,
By Dan L. Manes "Happy, clappy music person" (United States; Cleveland , Ohio) - See all my reviews (REAL NAME)
This review is from: Trumpet (Audio CD)
I was sucked in by the band name as it references The Shaggs and a song i believe called "My Pal Foot Foot". Moving onto the more important elements of this review: the music! The lead singer is a female singer named Robin Brown who along with her husband Josh, create an interesting album of music. Style-wise the tend to be a combo of some Breeders, a bit of folk and a nice slice alt-rock.(and heck perhaps a smidge of country?) I wasn't sure what i was getting into with this release but the inside of the album listed mandolin, piano, slide guitar, accordian and bells!
Worth giving a try as it is interesting slightly off-kilter music with a melodic sense. Foot Foor awaits!
