Product Description

This is a Trumpeter 1/32 scale assembly and painting required plastic model kit of the Grumman TBF Avenger, a single-engine torpedo-bomber employed by the United States Navy and Marine Corps in World War II. Model kit features: 1/32 scale model kit of the TNF-1C, which is a TBF-1 with provision for two 0.5 in wing guns and fuel capacity increased to 726 gallon. Detailed exterior, good cockpit, engine, rubber tires, bomb bay doors, and photo-etched parts. US markings for 2 a/c in Atlantic & tri-color schemes. 489 parts with photo-etched sheet for for Aileron & Flap hinges, another for engine ventilation grill & bomb bay doors.

The TBF-1C Avenger 1/32 by Trumpeter is one of the best 1/32 scale plastic models I have ever built. The detailing can not be beat. The finished model is exquisite. The instructions are very comprehensive, as they should be for such a large model with many pieces. If you read through them before starting assembly, it will really help. The parts all fit well with the exception of the left wing into the fuselage. It needed a little white glue to fill the small gap left in the assembly. About the only other items that could have been improved upon were the lack of a paint chart and that the etched seat belts were too short. This terrific kit is not for the first time modeler, but for anyone who has built large scale plastic models, it will be very rewarding.

It is cheapgood presantation,many option, but when you start to assamble most of the parts impossible to cement.
