These socks are made to look like dainty little maryjane shoes on your baby's feet. My daughter has tons of socks and these are by far my favorite. People who aren't in-the-know look at these and think they really are shoes until they see them up close :)
The price of these has gone up quite a bit since I created my registry for baby shower gifts a year ago. I guess they are in demand. Even if you think they're too expensive, you should register for them anyways--someone else will want to buy them for you. Everyone at the shower will "ooh and ahh", not only about the socks but the pretty pink-white-and-black box them come in is adorable, too.
I give them 4 stars cuz they're over-priced.

These socks, like adult socks, run small. Most babies can only fit the 0-12 month sizes until they are 5-6 months--this size allows babies to wear them until they are walking. These were a gift purchased when I noticed the mother cramming her DD's poor, chubby feet into the 0-12 month sized Trumpettes I had given her for her baby shower.

I bought the pastel version of these for my 11 m.o. niece for Christmas and they were so adorable I had to get her the brights for her birthday at the end of January. My sister-in-law gets a lot of complements on them, and we both like that they have a non-slip sole (their house does not have wall-to-wall carpeting, so this will be good once she starts walking). As the other reviewer mentioned, they are pricey for socks, but they seem to be pretty durable (she has been wearing the pastel set for two months straight and they still look brand new). I only wish Trumpette made some of their other styles in toddler sizes. I am in love with the tennis shoe ones, but infant sized are going to be too small. Oh well, maybe for the next niece or nephew ;)

It's really expensive for socks but it's really cool! My baby becomes the center of attention anywhere she goes with these socks. People just love them - they get fooled by it and think that my lil girl's wearing shoes. We call them 'shoe-cks' (combi of shoe and socks). I love that it doesn't fall off either - even if my baby tries to pull them off (she's so attracted to these too - with the bright colors). And as one of our friends said, "The attention and discussion about the 'shoe-cks' makes it worth the money!". :)

These socks are really cute, however, once I washed them, they are pretty small (I saved them for my next daughter and she can wear them at 6 months). They're also a little expensive, but they're perfect for my girl who's not yet walking and doesn't have to wear shoes.

I bought these socks for my granddaughter who is just learning to walk at 8 mos. She is pulling herself up and cruising the furniture all of the time. Our floors are not heated and some rooms have hardwood floors. I wanted a sock to stay on, help with warmth, and provide traction. We love these socks. They stay on better than most and the color variety means there is a sock for every outfit. It really added to the cuteness factor. They wash well and hold up. I wish they stayed on all of the time but no sock does. When I find one that does it will get the five star rating.

I love these socks! The compliments on them are endless. As a first-time mom with an 8-month-old daughter, I have learned to purchase socks and tights in a much bigger size than you think you need. These socks are no exception. My daughter is still wearing a size 1 to size 2 shoe, but these 1-2 years socks are the perfect fit and don't fall off. I'm thankful for the bright colors - babies wear more than just pastels!

These socks are very cute on baby! And the tread on the bottom is effective at making sure my little one doesn't slip and slide all over the floor.

The socks are very cute and functional. Great to wear under shoes or around the house. They have tread on the bottom so feet won't slip. They do run a bit small though. The largest size fits 1-2 year olds. However my daughter is 20 months old and the socks are small on her.
