Another winner by Richard Whalen!,
This review is from: Truro: The Story of a Cape Cod Town (Paperback)
After being given Everyday Life in Truro by the same author and enjoying it tremendously, I purchased this book from Amazon. As it was with Everyday Life, Mr. Whalen's writing style is fresh and interesting; he presented historical information (that I initially concerned might be tedious) in a way that way that is intriguing. Though I admit to a deep love of both Cape Cod and Truro, I really don't think either are necessary to appreciate this book - you need only enjoy reading and to have interest in the way life once was.
