5.0 out of 5 stars Pleased With What I Found
I, like the previous reviewer, found Baphomet's 'Trust' in a bargin bin. It looked interesting so I just thought, "What the hell." and picked it up. It was well worth the money. With death, grindcore, and thrash metal influences, Baphomet reserects the formula of the old school thrash. I found 'Trust' to be an album that just jumped off the speakers into my head. "What...

3.0 out of 5 stars Worth my money, for sure...
I scored this little treasure for $1 in the bargain bin, new. Nothing really ground breaking, just good, straight forward death metal with a few variations. It may grow on me the more I listen to it, but I haven't given it a chance yet. For the price here on Amazon, it's probably worth it for you, but check out some sound bites first to make sure.

With death, grindcore, and thrash metal influences, Baphomet reserects the formula of the old school thrash. I found 'Trust' to be an album that just jumped off the speakers into my head. "What Went Wrong" is basically an homage to the great thrash bands of the late 80s. The lyrics and msuic really remind me of 'Seasons In The Abyss' period Slayer. "Low Life" is my favorite track with great drum work from Manuel Reichert, and superb vocals by Thomas Hertler. They may not be a Slayer or Naplam Death, but they have permanently found their way into my C.D. collection. Long live thrash!
