The Best of the Best,
By Megan (Tulsa, OK USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
Rae Voight knows her life will never be the same. She knows she is in constant danger. And she knows that because of her powers, her friends, which include Jesse, Anthony, and of course Yana, will never be safe around her. And the last thing she would want to do was betray any of them. But when she tracks down Anothony's dad and finds out the horrible truth about him, that he is in jail for armed robbery and murder, Anthony thinks she's betrayed him. But even more terrifying than that, Rae finds out some more of the truth about her mother, she begins to think that her life might be in danger, not only from her stalker and someone she doesn't know about trying to kill her, but from something else. Only she doesn't know what... Fingerprints #3- Trust Me is by far the best book of the Fingerprints series so far. Just like the others, you will not be able to put it down.

The thrilling third book in the Fingerprints series.,
This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
Rae Voight knows someone is out to get her, and that someone has no hesitation about using the people she cares about in order to fulfill his twisted scheme. She only has the help of her friends - Anthony, who knows about her mysterious abilities, and Yana, who doesn't, but does know something is not right. In an effort to discover the origins of her powers, Rae digs deeper into her painful past - and discovers more about her mother's life and death than she ever would have wanted to. The terrible secrets she has uncovered could help Rae to save her own life - or put her in even more danger. And the greatest threat could come from something even more deadly than the man who wants to kill her. That threat is the same unseen force that killed her mother, and it is a threat that Rae understands even less than her stalker. This was a thrilling continuation of Rae's story, and the wait until the next book comes out is far too long.

Is Rae helping Anthony? Or bringing him towards destruction,
By Nancy E. "Nancy" (USA) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
Anthony has helped Rae so much and there's nothing she wants to do more than repay that favor. SHe knows what he wants to know the most, that's find out who his father really is. So using her fingerprint reading ability she searches for Anthony's father with the help of Yana. But as she finds out more she finds out that Anthony might not wanna know about his father. ANd she find out things about her past that are almost equally distrubing. Should she tell Anthony? Or is she heading towards destruction.I found this book to be thrilling and even more interesting than the last. I can't wait till the next book, Secrets, comes out. Rae's adventures are amazing. I reccomend this book to anyone who's a fan of the series. It's a five star book!

Trust Me,

This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
Trust Me is about Rae trying to find out what happened to Anthony's father because he deserves to know the truth. But the truth may not be something Anthony should know. Rae has found Anthony's father but it's nothing good considering that his father ended up in jail. When Rae was looking around the jail she picked up something from one of the inmates that says that they knew her mother. Rae goes to the hospital where her mother stayed and tries to find out if her mother had a special power, too. Instead Rae learns every single detail about what happened to her mother. In this book Rae also starts getting numb spots which isn't anything good. This book was so good I couldn't put it down.

Keeps you on the edge of your seat!,
This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
Rae Voight's life will never be the same again now with her secret powers that only Jessie and Anthony know about. However she is happy that she is not insane and she would do anything to repay Anthony for all the things that he had done for her by helping her through her hard times. She knows deep down Anthony's number one desire is to find out how his father is like and if he is anything like him. So Rae and her friend Yana go on a mission to find out the truth about Anthony's father who left so many years ago. However what Rae finds is something that she can never believe and something that will hurt Anthony more than anything else in the world. However she has probelms of her own as she starts finding out things about her mother's past and mental problems while visiting Anthony's father. However Anthony follows Rae during her plans and when they have a confrotation Rae confesses what she knows about Anthony's father. As she knows Anthony goes into a rage. Can she stop him from ruining his life forever while still dealing with her own problems? This third book in the fingerprints series is the best one yet and I can't wait for #4 Secrets!

I read this book on a plane to Germany, and then read it again when I got home. It was great! Rae wants to help Anthony by finding his father, but what she finds out may only hurt him. At the same time, Rae is on her own quest to find answers, but the answers she is getting only makes the puzzle more confusing. Who is sending Rae strange pictures? Was her mother really crazy? The suspense for the next book is great -- we know now that there are two villans after Rae, but who are they? The new teacher trying to help her? Or is it someone even closer to Rae?

She Was Only Trying to Help....,
By
This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
Rae Voight knew that she owed Anthony for all of his help - big time. He was the one who discovered that she wasn't going crazy, she just was picking up other people's thoughts when she touched their fingerprints. Rae is learning how to control her new skills, but she can't help but remember that Anthony's deepest wish and biggest fear is to find out about his dad. Rae wants to do something nice for Anthony and so she convinces Yana to help her find out about Anthony's father. Rae quickly discovers that Anthony's dad is in Scott State Prison. She doesn't want to tell Anthony, though, not until she knows what kind of a guy his father is. Unfortunately, Anthony's dad won't talk to her so Yana comes up with a plan to get them into Scott State and even get a full on tour! While she's there, Rae "reads" someone's thoughts and realizes that there is someone in prison who knew Rae's mother, Melissa. But who, and how? Rae doesn't get the chance to find out and she can't even tell Anthony because he is furious with her about finding his dad. Anthony doesn't know what to do about his dad. He finds out from Rae that he is in jail for killing someone during an armed robbery and knows that he can never be good enough to be around someone like Rae. He tries to keep his distance from her and even agrees to start doing some robbing with a group of other guys to make some money. Rae is really hurt by Anthony's attitude, but she is determined to find out the truth about her mother. Her mother died in a mental hospital after murdering her best friend. Rae can't understand why her dad just doesn't face the fact that her mom wasn't the great person he thought she was, but she is also starting to wonder if her mom had powers too... This is the third book in the Fingerprints series and it starts right after #2 ends so it is really helpful to read the first two books first. This book is more about deepening the mystery around Rae & her mother and furthering the plot from previous books than anything new going on. If you have read the first two books, you'll totally be into it; if not, you will feel like the book is kind of pointless. Still, the characters are great and the book is fast paced. Just remember to have the next books in the series ready to go when you finish!

FingerPrints,

This review is from: Trust Me (Fingerprints, Book 3) (Paperback)
When I read this book it feels like I am one with Anthony ,Rae , Yana , Jesse and the rest of the people in this book. In this Book so far that I am reading Rae is finding out people know about her secret. She can read peoples thoughts when she touches their finger prints. She puts mush (dog stuff) on her fingers when she is around anthony because she dosnt want to get any of his (bluebird) thoughts. Anthony teaches Rae how to swim and she teaches him on how to read better (he has dislexia). And Anthony's father split when he was little and Rae found him in Jail. She tried to tell Mr. Tony Facinelle that Anthony wanted to see him but he got mad and told her if he ever Had anthony go there he would never talk to him ever.Thats all I have read in this book. If you like Mystery stories and stuff go out and get finger prints! But you have to read # 1 first and read them all in order or else you will get confused! Best books I ever read Sammi

This series just gets better and better! The momentum from book one through book three is phenomenal, just as one mystery is solved, another rears it ugly head. The writing is sublime and Melinda Metz knows just how to balance out the suspense with doses of everyday life.
This book focuses on Rae's search for Anthony's father which brings about shocking results for both Rae and Anthony. After learning that his father is in prison for a horrific crime, Anthony resigns himself to the same fate, giving up on all of the positive elements of life and plunging into reckless behavior. Rae is also on a mission to learn more about her mother and uncovers a number of clues which have her scrambling to pull together the loose ends. This installment is emotionally charged as Anthony feels betrayed by Rae who has taken on the mission of finding his father without his consent. The "mystery stalker" has begun sending clues in the form of photos, ashes and one very creepy phone call but we don't seem any closer to learning who s/he is. Marcus, Rae's ex-boyfriend seems intent on winning her back and Anthony is still battling his growing feelings toward Rae. Basically, there's a ton of stuff happening in this book but it never feels weighed down or incomplete. This is by far one of the best series I've ever read. Moving on now to book four! |
