Because these authors are so phenomenal in how much information they gave as well as the kind of people they are, I made a very special invitation. And I am thrilled to say that many of the authors have agreed to be guests on Relationship marketing 101 Radio.

Ronda Del Boccio, The Story Lady of [...]
#1 bestselling author, speaker and mentor
Read about the life lessons that these entrepreneurs learned while following their heart and building the businesses of their dreams.
This book begins with Marnie Pehrson's story. Marnie had two young children in 1989 and needed to find a way to earn income from her home. She had taken computer classes in college and thought she might be able to teach others some basic progams that were used in business offices. She placed an ad in the newspaper offering to teach WordPerfect, Pagemaker and Lotus 1-2-3 from her home. Within a few months, she was teaching 50 hours a week in a spare bedroom. She wrote a book on how to run a successful computer training buisiness from your home. She went on to develop the first online shopping mall and IdeaMarketers.com.
Ms. Pehrson interviews eighteen other entrepreneurs in this book. They all tell how they got started, the difficult circumstances they overcame and how they went on to build a successful business. Each story is very special in its own way. All the entrepreneurs have one thing in common...they followed their hearts and transformed ideas into income.
I learned something from each one of the interviews in this book. I realized that these were just normal people that started from scratch and persevered until they achieved success. Here are some things that seemed to be repeated in many of the interviews;
Believe in yourself. You must believe that you have the ability to build a business.
Marketing is everthing. Many of the interviews stressed how important marketing is to building a business.Read more ›
Review of Trust Your Heart:
Transform Your Ideas
by Marnie L. Pehrson
This book was an inspiring and very useful illustration of Marnie Pehrson's purpose: "highlighting truth and talent." Nineteen persons shared their stories of how they each trusted their heart, persevered in what their heart was telling them to do despite often serious obstacles, and ended up transforming their lives as well as their ideas into income.
I learned something meaningful from each of their stories. The accounts of Dr. Linda Miles (Keeping a Journal - I also have kept a Journal for twenty seven years); Phillip Davis (The Ultimate Goal was to be at peace - to simply be and not to do); Brian Rooney and Marnie Pehrson who chose to work at home and trust their hearts so they could be with their growing children and be a significant part of their lives - a time that would be available only once in their lifetime - these accounts were significantly meaningful to me.
I connect directly with Marnie's deep faith in God that directs her life and her passion for sharing ideas, truths, and the talents of those who have something amazing to offer the world. My way has been through my profession as a Teacher, Principal and College Professor of Education for fifty seven years. I have worked with pre-service and in-service teachers and school principals - helping a small college in the Cayman Islands develop its education programs for persons of limited means who could not afford other colleges, and through my deep faith life and service for twenty eight years as a Catholic Deacon. The thirty lessons Marnie has "learned or relearned" would be my list also especially lessons 1-4, 9, 15-17, 23,and 26.Read more ›
