This charger system does not cost a lot, does the job on a variety of Rechargeables, can do individual batteries vs. having to install two at a time, and incorporates the Red (charging), and Green (charged) LEDS as indicators. Of the many low cost chargers out there at this time, I have had my share of those really cheap quality square-box plug in chargers that half the time do not work, and their internal circuitry is not much more than a Varyistor & Zener Diode. This unit is considerably better quality.

So far so good. I've charged about a dozen 18550, 14500 and CR123 batteries and it seems to work fine. It doesn't too hot with continued charging.

A little note. This thing chargers any 3.6 lithium 60mm long and smaller, just in case you have a batt that isn't listed.

I have several 18650 and RCR123 type batteries and this will charge them all. Simple to use and works great, what more can I want.

I Purchased my trustfire charger in july/2012. It Charges my 18650 lithium-ion batteries reliably. I've read in some charger reviews about other chargers getting very hot, melting the plastic case, and some even catching on fire.

Not this one. When charging, it gets barely warm. Probably because it charges at 500 Ma. So it charges at a slow even rate. Some other chargers are rated at 600 Ma or higher.

Your batteries will last longer and charge cooler at 500 Ma or lower. It is a fact in battery technology that the the faster a battery is charged, the shorter it's effective lifespan is.

For example, if you have ever used a 15 or 30 minute quick charger for a power tool. One thing you'll notice is the battery gets real hot, real fast. Same thing here. I've never stood over my charger saying "come on, hurry up". This charger will top off your batteries in 2 to 4 hours. That's ok with me.

I would buy this charger again if need be. It does what it's supposed to do very well, and at a good price.

I bought this and some rechargeable CR123 batteries to feed my flashlight. I will never again throw away money on disposable CR123 batteries.

I found that my 18650 trustfire batteries did not fit in this charger. That's the reason I purchased it, so back it goes. Have other Trustfire charger for CR123A and it works like a champ, so I assume this charger works for smaller batteries.

I bought this for some rechargeable CR123 3 volt batteries that are used in my dog’s wireless fence collar. They charged each of the 4 batteries I have once, and after that won’t charge the battery unless I switch it to the higher voltage setting, I think it’s 3.7 volts. I’ve used the batteries in the collar a few times after charging at the higher voltage, but the batteries now die after only a day, when I used to get about 4 days out of a charge. So it looks like I’ve wasted my money not only on a charger, but will probably have to buy new batteries as well.
