The annual Le Mans competition is the battleground for the Audi Team and their car, a diesel Formula One car, that has actually won Le Mans, I believe, around 5-6 times, over the Peugeot Team. In this presentation of Part 2 of the original Truth in 24, the cars have changed drastically, with this second one having a, one-piece bubble that fits over the cockpit, thus, serving several layers, so to speak, of protection for the driver....The cinematography is brilliant, which is in a High Definition format, recorded with nothing but the finest of equipment, including digital audio...The cameras attached to the cars, bring the most realistic views and angles that anyone other then the driver could never see but with the electronic technology available, has made this film a true winner. This may have been recorded direct to disc. I'm not sure but the final product is something I had never seen before. It does not contain the grainy look of some film types, which is great for racing productions. It is super clean, brilliant, bright and the color is right, not saturated or overly filtered, to achieve some type of look the director is searching for...You be the judge but be forewarned, you will expect any and all future productions to have this same quality.

The first 24 Hours At Le Mans film I have watched, and thoroughly enjoyed it! Held my interest from beginning to end.

It is a pretty decent documentary that shows a lot of interesting facts of the race world. Jason Statham's narrations are perfect. Knowing that he is a actor that does his own driving stunts and he is able to do these and hearing him explain different things throughout the film was good. I just found this a little slow in places or too drawn out school like documentary but it was over all pretty good with some cool information.

It is interesting to watch it, but know that it's an Audi biased movie.
I wish they had a bit more screen time on the other teams as the flow of the movie creates an interest in them. The picture quality is fantastic, especially at those speeds.
Jason Statham is a fantastic narrator and i only made a few obnoxious jokes during the playback. Mostly due to the music in the first half, as it goes too obviously to sad, like an inflated "oh-noe's". So i wish the music was much more subtle, b/c it ruins the moments when it's blaringly overdone, but that aside, it was a good enough movie to maybe (someday) watch it again with people who haven't seen it yet.
Highly recomended for Audi fans, and many track rats who know all too well the tiniest of things can make or break the day.
Still giving it a 5 stars b/c there's little that could be done to improve it.

If you enjoyed the original Truth in 24 documentary then you'll probably enjoy this follow up. It covers the years immediately after the 2008 race featured in the original film and culminates with the 2011 LeMans race. Nothing really innovative here but some new story lines including the car with the young drivers and the female chief engineer.

NFL Films does such a great job. It's a great watch, if you're familiar with Le Mans or just getting started. Obviously it's focused on Audi's teams, but if you're into Le Mans you'll still get plenty out.

Statham's narration can be a little dramatic at times, but it's not so bothersome as to detract.

Not as good as the first one but worth watching. The new crew chiefs are inspiring. That is really the story in these. There are two stunning wrecks with carbon fiber pieces all over the place while the drivers are ok. But it doesn't capture that pure competition the first one did.
