3.0 out of 5 stars 3 for the enitre DVD production...but March 7, 2010
The amount of planted reviews here (3 last I checked) made me suspicious so I only ordered one for the store..thankfully.

The story follows a group of buddies in Chicago as they traverse the life of doing nothing whilst playing video games, playing softball and hanging at the local bar. Two of them decide to collaborate on "getting with" a pretty co-worker lady that has a challenged sister, by having one of them faking being challenged. Even though it sounds insensitive and wrong (which it is) they still managed to evoke a few shallow laughs along the way. No budget and it shows, but they brought together this small cast in such a way that it does not come across as a complete loss.

The supplements include an alternate ending (the happier guy gets the girl vs. the move-on philosophy in the regular cut), a few minutes of outtakes as they crack themselves up, and a history/making of that lasts 20 minutes. Contains plenty of dry interviews and how-this-came-to-be anecdotes. The commentary has two of the guys reminiscing on all of the low budget pratfalls and material for those thinking about what it takes to make a no-budget film.

The sound is horrible and the picture quality is average. It does not get a recommendation but they gave it a valid try. Interestingly enough, they were thinking of titling this film similar to the big budget Jay Baruchel comedy coming out this month (who got his start this same way) but they went with this irrelevant main title instead. 1.5 for the film, 1.5 for the supplements and quality.

2.0 out of 5 stars Big oops, ordered the wrong dvd July 31, 2014
Format:DVD|Verified Purchase
I intended to order the dvd "The Truth About Guys" which is a Christian young man telling girls why guys think differently than they do, and how to connect and understand them better. Boy did I mess up! The R rated movie was not what I meant to purchase. I threw away immediately. The packaging had been destroyed by my dog already, including the dvd case. Otherwise I would have returned.

1.0 out of 5 stars Horrible!!! January 5, 2013
Awful movie. Awful script. Awful acting. Awful actors. Awful camera work. Awful sound. Don't waste your precious time on this horrible movie. I've seen more talent in a cheerios box. The acting was wooden and unbelievable. The supposedly hot girl is completely unattractive and her best friend is just as unlikable.. and even less attractive. The main male actor was ridiculous. I hated this movie and the people leaving planted reviews should be ashamed of themselves. Overall, this was very amateurish. Don't waste your money.

5.0 out of 5 stars Best of Fest December 16, 2009
I saw this movie at the Traildance Film Festival in Duncan, OK. Very fun, great writing and a good cast. I finally found the guys that made it and bought a copy. I can't wait to get a hold of a real retail copy too.
