Good, solid advice on preparing for a presentation,
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
This review is from: The Truth About Personal Performance (Collection) (Kindle Edition)
I decided to take advantage of the kindle freebie price while it was available -- and because I knew that I would be doing more presentations myself, which is something that one can always improve on. I like the straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to doing presentations in this book. Some of the advice is common sense, like becoming a good presenter requires practice (and a lot of it)and watching good and bad presenters is a good way to improve your own presentations.
O'Rourke outlines specific steps to take, types of presentations, the ways people learn, the goal of a presentation and more. There is no magic potion for becoming a good speaker, but the information in this book will get you thinking on specific, on-going things you can do to improve your presentations. A good thing. |
