4.0 out of 5 stars Good tips and reminders, April 9, 2008
Good reminders of what we've been told in the past plus several good, new tips. Worth the price and time.

4.0 out of 5 stars Good, solid advice on preparing for a presentation, September 8, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I decided to take advantage of the kindle freebie price while it was available -- and because I knew that I would be doing more presentations myself, which is something that one can always improve on. I like the straight-forward, no-nonsense approach to doing presentations in this book. Some of the advice is common sense, like becoming a good presenter requires practice (and a lot of it)and watching good and bad presenters is a good way to improve your own presentations.

O'Rourke outlines specific steps to take, types of presentations, the ways people learn, the goal of a presentation and more. There is no magic potion for becoming a good speaker, but the information in this book will get you thinking on specific, on-going things you can do to improve your presentations. A good thing.
