A must have for anyone in the email industry trying to put a solid email program together.

You won't get as much out of it if you're a veteran, but this covers most all bases in the email world.

Described in one word: worthy.

If you are currently using email marketing, considering adding email to your marketing mix, or justifying email in your budget - you must read "The Truth about Email Marketing" by Simms Jenkins.

This book is a must-read for any email marketer. I passed it to my web and publishing team to give them a sense of the current trends and environment. Doesn't hurt that Simms is a really nice guy!

Jenkins' book is a simple, straightforward, to-the-point narrative that is a must-read for email marketing veterans and newcomers to the industry alike. Broken up into easy-to-digest segments, "Truths" offers the reader the ability to focus on one or two ideas at a time, providing the information needed to earn buy-in at the C level or just simply get a download if you're new to the game.

A great book. A must-read. I highly recommend this. I pull it out at least once a week for review of concepts.

The Truth About Email Marketing is a Must-Read for marketing executives at all levels who want to use email marketing to drive business. Simms Jenkins does a great job of thoroughly explaining what can feel like a very complex and intimidating area of expertise. It's easy to read and easy to incorporate into your day-to-day marketing efforts.

This book is very easy to read without too much unexplained industry jargon to make your eyes glaze over. It's informative and chalk full of useful data. However, it's not a tome full of pages of fluff - just the facts and extracted data to get a good intro to the business or a primer for a veteran.

If you are looking for the "success guide" in email marketing this book covers it all. From Spam Compliance to ROI the Truths, all are highly relevant and easy to follow.

this is a phenomonal resource and a must read for everyone currently in or entering this space. I would recommend this to everyone and I have actually purchased extra copies of thisbook to give away.

I found Simms' book to be an excellent overview of email marketing. I work in the email industry and have read a varity of books on the subject.
