5.0 out of 5 stars One of the greatest albums of all time, June 22, 2006
By
This is simply one of the greatest hardcore/metal albums of all time. You don't compare this album to other bands or albums. It is on a level of its own. Bands have ben trying to imitate the sound of this album for years and they continue to fail. With the agression, beats and raw attitude of hardcore, the thundering guitars of metal and hardcore, the deep insightful and anthem lyrics, and the resulting pits which were total mayhem, this album was nothing less than a masterpiece.

5.0 out of 5 stars One of the top 10 nyhc albums of alltime., September 14, 2005
AllOutWar never claimed to be anything they weren't they played along the likes of Biohazard,TrainOfThought,Madball and numerous others. With hxc of today mixing more with emo than metal Truth in the Age of Lies can withstand the test of time and it use to be in my cd player but now mp3 and is a classic. It reminds me of the first time I heard the pummeling sounds of CroMags:Bestwishes and Slayers:ReignInBlood all without the Ego. I remember seeing them when they got back together and played down here in Tx. Mike and crew had no ego and where nothin but hilarious. It reminds me of sophmore efforts like VOD's Still 7inch. It had me glued to my record player and finally bought the CDep with 2extra songs, it just pwns anything you put it up against. And Your right I vaguely remember way back having VHS tapes with them representing metal those guys and Stigmata.

5.0 out of 5 stars 10 stars, common!!, May 6, 2005
The best Metal album of all time!! At song #8 (Fight for god) it becomes like a machine, pistons firing and thundering in perfect synchronicity. I've been listening to it for years, but hadn't heard it in a while. Tossed it in the stereo the other day, and had my A$$ kicked again! It needed an updated review, because nothing these days comes even close. All Out War, a once in a generation group.
