5.0 out of 5 stars I Love this Book!
This book was really fun to read. April, the main character, narrates the book. She and some other teens (Dara, Josh, Jenny, Ken, Carly, and Tony) share a ski cabin for the weekend. They plan to have fun. At first, it is not snowing. (No snow is not good for skiing.) Then it starts snowing. In fact, snowing so hard that the snow is coming down in thick, heavy,...

5.0 out of 5 stars I Love this Book!, September 11, 2008
This review is from: Truth or Dare (Fear Street, No. 28) (Mass Market Paperback)
In fact, snowing so hard that the snow is coming down in thick, heavy, swirling flakes; it is so thick that you can't hardly see in front of you and you feel as though you are in a snow globe that is all shook up. (Too much snow is not good for skiiing, either.) I love the snow descriptions; I felt as if I was in crunching, powdering, thick snow. (I do not get snow very often, and when I do, it is not very thick; therefore, I love "imaginary" snow.)

Because the weather is not yet suitable for skiing, the teens are stuck inside. But they have plenty of good food and hot coffee. They play Truth or Dare (since they can't go outside). But during a Truth or Dare game, secrets might accidently get revealed . . . Will a particular secret lead to murder?

This is a horror book, so of course, someone is found murdered. (I will not say who or why, because I don't want to ruin the book.) April is horrified because there is a killer in the cabin. No one can leave because the snow is unrelentingly trapping them inside the cabin, and the snow storm made the phone lines go out. They can't leave, and they can't call the police. Trapped in a ferocious snowstorm, in a cabin with a killer and a dead body in the garage.

But April finds clues . . . Will she figure out who the killer is? Will she ever be able the leave the cabin? Will she be safe?

4.0 out of 5 stars Truth or Dare, June 4, 2001
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Truth or Dare (Fear Street, No. 28) (Mass Market Paperback)
Truth or Dare by R.L. Stine was the third Fear Street book that I have read, and I have never been able to stop reading these books. They are really great. This book starts out when a couple of friends were asked to go skiing for the weekend with a friend. There was a big snow-storm outside and that meant that they couldn't go skiing. They begin to start to play a game of truth or dare. A terrible secret gets out, but no one really makes a big deal about it until one of their friends is found dead outside and another missing. When they find out that two of their friends are dead, they start to suspect each other. With no car and no phone, there is no way to get home. You will not want to put this book down. This book is very good with a twist in the end. I would recommend this to anyone who likes to have chills run up their spine.

5.0 out of 5 stars R.L. Stine does it again!!, March 27, 2001

This review is from: Truth or Dare (Fear Street, No. 28) (Mass Market Paperback)
The book Truth or Dare by R.L. Stine is a very exiting book. It is about when a couple of friends go skiing for the weekend. They stay at a little-known friend's shalet for the weekend. There is a storm out-side,and they can't ski, so they decide to play a game of Truth or Dare. A deep secret accidently slips out, but no one acknowledges it. The next morning, a the girl who ownes the cabin is killed. Who did it? Another person is missing, and the jeep, the only car is stolen. Is there a killer on the loose, or is the killer really with them all along? This story has a very twisted end, and it is very suspenseful! I reccomend you read this book.

5.0 out of 5 stars A THRILLING BOOK!, February 13, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Truth or Dare (Fear Street, No. 28) (Mass Market Paperback)
This book is very exciting. After they find a person from the gang they know that someone in the house was a murderer. They try figuring out who it was but they didn't know for sure. The most exciting part was the last 20 pages. It was fun trying to figure out which one of them it was. You should really give the book a try and all the other Fear Street series books because most of them are great. So next time your in the libray or bookstore get this book!

Truth or Dare is a great scary story. It wastes no time in sending shivers running down your arms, beginning with the end of the very first chapter! It gives great clues, and real-life situations that could happen anyday. I finished the book in, I'd say 2 hours max. I would advise this book for any reader, whether you like scary stories or not.

5.0 out of 5 stars Spellbinding!, June 11, 2002
This review is from: Truth or Dare (Fear Street, No. 28) (Mass Market Paperback)
I was dazzled by this brilliant, slightly twisted tale of scandle, lies, and a killer ending! It was really wild! The killer's identity was a shocker, but the reason was even more exciting! I think that this is the BEST book R.L Stine has ever written and it has by far the most twists and turns I've ever read in a book. This book is written in the first person, so it feels like you are part of April's world. This book will shock you and if you are like me, you won't be able to put it down. I would have to say that if you didn't tush to the naerest bookstore and buy this book right now, you are without a dout the stupidest person alive! So buy this book today, you won't regret it! Trust me, I know my books!

some friends are going sking, without an adult. it's cold, and they're scared! why? when one of them is murdered, and another disappears with the only means of transport, they start to suspect each other.he/she has killed before and he/she will kill again. yet another great book with a 'twist in the tale.'
