What a beautiful book! I felt so mothered and fathered reading this book. Such graciousness and compassion...such clarity. Here is an excerpt that was so HUGE for me, "Recognize that it is 'before' you have the wish to wake up that you are awake, because as soon as you start wanting things to be different, you fall asleep again. If you want things to be different from the way they are, you are taking things seriously and granting reality to the dream. At that moment you go back to sleep. So don't try to wake up. Instead, understand that you are perfectly awake at all times.
It is a common mistake to think that, once there is deep understanding of the truth, things will be different - that the dream will go away and be replaced by a brand-new dream with a different story. What actually happens is that this dream continues; the Maya doesn't change. The difference is that now we know Maya to be Maya, we know it to be a dream in which the body and the mind are involved. The dream becomes a lucid dream, but it doesn't go away. Often people think, "There can't be a deep understanding of the truth because the content of the dream hasn't changed." But the content of the dream doesn't change; all that changes is that we know that this is an illusion, or in other words that it is not the ultimate reality of what we are. Then everything becomes playful, because the content of the dream, at any particular point, doesn't matter. Or, it only matters in the way the score matters when we are playing a game of tennis. We pretend it matters but it doesn't 'really' matter. We pretend it matters in order to play the game, but ultimately we don't care. Highly Recommended.

Non Dual Deep Sea Fishing with Francis Lucille, August 26, 2010
Truth,Love and Beauty
The third in a series of three books taken from dialogues with Francis Lucille. It is his crowning achievement. Each book is an exceptionally clear and concise exploration of that which we are; his work is, perhaps, the most thorough and profound compilation on consciousness in print.
What can I say about Francis Lucille? Only that he is my friend and he is my teacher. I encourage you to read this book as well as The Perfume of Silence to experience for yourself why many mature truth lovers find him unique.
The most direct path to Self-realization is the study of Truth, deep meditation and the association with the Guru, the physical embodiment of the living principles of Truth.
No teacher reflects Truth with greater clarity than Francis Lucille. With impersonal compassion, he gently instructs his students and, by his presence, permits them to witness how universal principles can manifest in the human being.
He is humble. He makes his body of work merely available as a service to those desiring further pointers on the path to Self-realization.
Francis reflects such humility and compassion that is easy to overlook the enormity of his tireless and timeless gift to us.
He is second to none and those of us who have benefited from his company owe him a debt of gratitute that we will never be able to repay. You can visit his website directly at [...]. There you will find information on his work, his retreats and how to reach him directly.
For those who have had the pleasure of spending time with him, Francis frequently refers to the works of Eastern and Western sages, so his teachings are widely compatible with both Eastern and Western students.
You can visit Francis Lucille at [...] for more information. See video satsangs with him at his website and at [...].

This review is from: Truth Love Beauty (Paperback)
I enjoyed the book and liked it even better the second time that I read it. The book was read by several prisioners in the Arkansas prison. All three of the books by Lucille are being passed around and enjoyed by the inmates. One of them interpeted the book as three paths of yoga. Truth being the path of knowledge. (Jnana yoga) Love being the path of devotional surrender.(braksta yoga) Beauty being discovery of your true nature.(Rajo yoga) The practice of all three paths as harmony or balance. The same as Buddha's eight fold path and what Jesus taught. The inmates would like to know if that was something Francis Lucille meant by Truth Love Beauty in not using comma's in the title. Each of the inmates had a different view but each of them said that the book made them a better person with a better understanding of life.
