What a great album, a great selection of music from these talented musicians. This album brings back summer time memories of listening to such great bands as the Eagles, Bad Company, Black Crowes and many others. Wonderful lyrics and the perfect mix of music behind it. Welcome to La is the perfect song for driving down the 101 watching the waves break on the beach. Call Back has to be the best sing along song ever.. My kids are singing it all the time.

Truth & Salvage - they don't make them like this anymore. Great music made from some of the most talented musicians you'll see live. Superb first album with harmonies and lyrics you can't get out of your head. This is a must buy for right now or even the next 25+ years because it's timeless. Track them down on their concert tour. I promise you won't be disappointed.

A band that gets everything right,
This review is from: Truth & Salvage Co. (Audio CD)
My wife and I first heard T&SCo. open for the Black Crowes last year and we thought they showed promise. We heard them again earlier this year with the songs from their new album in the setlist and we were blown away, as were all our friends at the show (everybody went home and ordered the album).
The difference between thousands of bar bands and a band that can make it big is songwriting, and T&SCo. definately has that. You know those songs you can't get out of your head? This album is full of them, no way you won't find yourself singing "Hail Hail" to yourself, or maybe "See Her" or "Call Back" and so on. I don't know what to call this kind of music anymore--alt.country, roots/America--whatever name it deserves the T&SCo. version is well-crafted, passionate and entertaining. Their live show is as good as this album, they understand how to pace a show and it's clear they're having fun onstage. And they can go from a country-tinged ballad dripping steel-guitar to a soaring psychedelic jam without missing a beat. The members of the band are also nice guys, happy to meet fans after a show and talk music and sign some autographs--they might call L.A. home these days but there's no "Hollywood" in them, they radiate authenticity. This album and tickets to see this terrific band live both come highly recommended.
