Catch 'em on the road with the Crowes this Fall. Great band. Great EP. Love it! If you like this, I highly recommend the EP and full length from Alberta Cross as well.

I saw Truth and Salvage the other night at DreamForce ([...]) in San Francisco. They opened up for the Black Crowes. They were a nice surprise. Excellent songs, solid musicians with a their own sound and style, although I can see why some offer comparisons, (Eagles/Fleet Foxes) But, to me they definitely have their own identity. If you get a chance to see them perform live, go. Great songs too. Call Back is my favorite song right now. Definitely recommend checking them out for yourself.

I'm giving this EP 3 1/2 stars because it has the country song on it. Otherwise, I'd give it a 4. I just saw this band open for The Black Crowes. I'd never heard of them before, and they were just terrific. From the first song to the last they sounded great. I only wish this EP were a full length CD. I hate country music, so I don't like the last song on the EP , "Welcome to LA", but other than that song, it's all good. They didn't do much country type music in concert. If anything, it leans more toward gospel inspired good ole rock and roll, but even that's not a good description. It has a southern rock feel to it. I'm looking forward to hearing more from this band. Great new music.

This band sounds like Fleet Foxes to a certain extent. But, with 4 singers, they are more closer to The Eagles cause there are distinct vocals from each vocalist.

There are other songs floating around besides this EP, and they are just as good, if not better, than this EP.

Fav song: Call Back.
