These pieces of short humor about the outdoors are truly some of the best I've ever read. I've never laughed as hard or as long at any other stories, and the fact that these are all adventures that actually took place is what puts them over the top.

Strickland's writing style is professional, yet very conversational. It's as though he were in the room with you, telling the tales one after another until, out of breath and wiping tears of laughter by the handful, you beg for mercy.

Anyone who's ever spent any time in the outdoors will love this book. I bought one for my dad as a gift and, after reading the first story, had to order him another one. This is one volume my bookshelf won't be without.

The first book I've read by "Cuz". He has a great and humerous way of sharing is hunting experiences. It is a very well written book that will be an enjoyable read to the novice and the experienced hunter. I'm looking forward to reading his follow up "The Whole Truth". Cuz gives great hints and secrets that I know I will use in my future hunts. A truly enjoyable read.

I've been a fan of the author for years and enjoyed this book very much.
I recommend it to any turkey hunter.
