Product Description

Do you believe that Jesus is God in human form, that He lived a sinless life on earth, was killed on a cross, rose from death, and lives today, bringing salvation and the hope of eternal life to the world?
You truly believe all this? Prove it.

After 44 years as a missionary in Thailand, Ken Rideout returned to the U.S. and found that even pastors respond to these questions with stunned, blank expressions.

Most Christians are not equipped to address these questions. But if we cannot prove Truth for ourselves, how can we prove Truth to others? What we have not realized is that Truth verifies itself. How? The answer is simple, respectful, powerful, and based on the Truth we all know we know.

4.0 out of 5 stars What Do We Know?, April 13, 2011
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
Ken Rideout is certain that we all know what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is evil. He is also certain that we know that we know. Ken's book is interesting, well written, and thought provoking. I recommend this read for anyone who is searching for understanding about morality.

From time to time in the book, the author lapses into prose that will appeal mostly to Christians, but not so much to others. Still, most of the book is highly readable and helpful discourse on the nature of morality.

I personally found Ken's chapter on faith to be less than illuminating and helpful. But I'm certain that most Christians will find it helpful.

The author asserts that we all know truths that we are certain we know. But he does not say how we know, except to say that God has built us that way. Christians will find that explanation satisfying, but others conducting a philosophical exploration may not.
