Editorial Reviews

Review

Quickly got into the story and by page 20, I was hooked...original and highly entertaining...kept me guessing throughout. -- 2001 Writer's Digest Book Contest: Judge's Evaluation

From the Publisher

I approached the manuscript of Tsing Lee with some trepidation, given the cover and the obvious pseudonym of Paige Turner. However, I quickly got into the story and I was soon hooked. Part of the story's appeal is that, unlike most books on the mardet today, I found it original and highly entertaining.

With most manuscripts, I can easily predict what will happen next--and, what will ultimately happen at the climax of the book. Tsing Lee, however, kept me guessing right up to the end.

I thoroughly enjoyed the character's insights and humor. I also enjoyed the matter-of-fact-ness about the character's voice. The voice remained constant whether Tsing was talking about high-heel shoes or sex. The character managed to go through a number of harrowing and unique events that I couldn't foresee, and yet held firm to that voic. A unique voice is something wonderful in a work of fiction, and the author managed to do this (while making it look easy).
