Book Description

July 31, 2007
IF THEY WON’T LET US BORROW IT . . .

The odd group of dimension travelers arrives in a country full of magic. They seek a book that may hold the key to finding one of Princess Sakura’s powerful memory feathers. But the volume they need turns out to be a national treasure, off limits to the public. Now Syaoran, Kurogane, and the others must brave traps, ravenous beasts, and some of the universe’s strongest magicians in order to steal the book. When it comes down to enchantments versus martial arts skill, can the team pull off the biggest caper of their career so far?

About the Author

CLAMP is a group of four women who have become one of the most popular manga artists in the world - Satsuki Igarashi, Mick Nekoi, Mokona Apapa and Nanase Ohkawa. They started out as doujnishi (fan comics) creators, but their skill and craft brought them to the attention of publishers very quickly. Their first work from a major publisher was RG Veda, but their first mass success was with Magic Knight Rayearth. From there, they went on to write many series, including Cardcaptor Sakura and Chobits, two of the most popular manga available. Like many Japanese manga artists, they prefer to avoid the spotlight, and little is known about them personally. CLAMP is also the author of Tsubasa, another title brought to you by Tanoshimi. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

More About the Author

Clamp, stylized as CLAMP, is an all-female Japanese manga artist group that formed in the mid 1980s. Many of the group's manga series are often adapted into anime after release. It consists of their leader Nanase Ohkawa, who provides much of the storyline and screenplay for all their works and adaptations of those works respectively, and three artists whose roles shift for each series: Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi. Almost 100 million Clamp tankōbon copies have been sold worldwide as of October 2007.
