BE CAREFUL WHEN THE SUN GOES DOWN!

Syaoran, Sakura, and their companions travel to Ôto, a country where cherry blossoms perfume the days and demons called Oni terrorize the nights. To earn funds, the foursome split up to hunt the wicked creatures. Soon they learn that a new type of Oni has appeared–one that is both mysterious and beautiful . . . and rumored to control the other demons! Will the brave twosome of Big Puppy (Kurogane) and Little Puppy (Syaoran) save the land of Ôto from this frightening foe–and retrieve another piece of Sakura’s fragmented past?

About the Author

CLAMP is a group of four women who have become one of the most popular manga artists in the world - Satsuki Igarashi, Mick Nekoi, Mokona Apapa and Nanase Ohkawa. They started out as doujnishi (fan comics) creators, but their skill and craft brought them to the attention of publishers very quickly. Their first work from a major publisher was RG Veda, but their first mass success was with Magic Knight Rayearth. From there, they went on to write many series, including Cardcaptor Sakura and Chobits, two of the most popular manga available. Like many Japanese manga artists, they prefer to avoid the spotlight, and little is known about them personally. CLAMP is also the author of Tsubasa, another title brought to you by Tanoshimi. --This text refers to an alternate Paperback edition.

More About the Author

Clamp, stylized as CLAMP, is an all-female Japanese manga artist group that formed in the mid 1980s. Many of the group's manga series are often adapted into anime after release. It consists of their leader Nanase Ohkawa, who provides much of the storyline and screenplay for all their works and adaptations of those works respectively, and three artists whose roles shift for each series: Mokona, Tsubaki Nekoi, and Satsuki Igarashi. Almost 100 million Clamp tankōbon copies have been sold worldwide as of October 2007.

The best thing about CLAMP's work is their characters, you can always find someone to sympathize with or root for, and they always stay true to themselves and grow with the story! This series has been great since some of my favorites from other series have dropped in in each volume. There is sweet poignant moment between Sakura and Saoran and, of course the introduction of the enigmatic Seishiro from X 1999 and Tokyo Babylon. Great Stuff! I can't wait for the next one!

5.0 out of 5 stars Probably the Funniest Volume, October 18, 2008

Outo Country is a great arc in this series and the bulk of it happens in this volume. Appearances by famous CLAMP characters, Kurogane finally gets a new sword, and everyone else gets drunk! What more do you need?
