From the Author
What is dystopia? It's the opposite of
utopia.
I propose utopia, not dystopia!- The current crop of science fiction that envisions dystopia - apocalyptic, dreary, visions of nuclear rubble, viruses, starvation, alien destruction, monsters stepping on buildings and wreaking havoc shows little hope for mankind.
- I've seen too much dystopia in science fiction lately!
- We need a new mythology! Maybe there's another future, maybe we just need a little help to get there, maybe we need some guidance, new mentors, new mythology, new visions and hope for a brighter future that makes its goal utopia, not dystopia.
Would such a lofty goal be fraught with struggle, trials and problems along the way? Most likely, but that doesn't mean we should give it up in favor of doom. We've all been taught that utopia is an unattainable dream, the dream of dreamers.
Maybe we get what we wish for. We need a new vision.
I invite you to take a journey towards utopia, not dystopia in Tu & The Collectors. It's time to get back in the saddle, time to explore the universe, new planets, new peoples and new worlds!
