This long awaited 2nd edition of Jondi & Spesh's debut album is an eclectic spread of distorted acid lines, bizarre audio sculpture, and massively thick, pounding beats. The second half of the album also weaves in complex harmonic tapestries and more experimental sounds. "Tube Drivers" also includes the first two Jondi & Spesh tracks to have videos on MTV's AMP ("Impenetrable Sayonara" and "Phreek Out").

An inimitable electronic album, but I'm no authority, and I haven't listened to all the electronic music out there either. I aver that anyone who enjoys this genre of music will not be disappointed with Tube Drivers. Typical J & S flow with all kinds of sounds and rhythms swishing around the atmosphere of each track. A person listening to this disc will hear spanish shouts, referee whistles, tornado sirens, African drums, Church bells, and oh yeah, (Lamaze class style) proper breathing techniques. I love driving around my small town blasting this CD.This disc gives me goosebumps, and I even get tears in my eyes because of the harmonies.
