These are for people who do not like to wear big hoops. They can also be worn in holes that are up the side of the ear instead of the lobe and look lovely. I have two holes in the ear lobes and wear these in the top sometimes with a slightly bigger set in the lower hole. They look expensive and the photo does not doe them justice.

I don't like big earrings because I have three holes in each ear. These are easy to put on and take off, and you know they are secure in your ear because you feel them snap shut. Great price and great service from Gem Avenue as well.

Earrings came in the mail in less than a week, undamaged. I bought them to wear on my upper ears in my cartilage, and they are the perfect size. Much better than endless hoops because they are easier to put on and the backs aren't very noticeable. Great deal.

Guys: This isn't the hoop earring your looking for. It's got a "flare" in the front, right as it enters your piercing, that makes it look distinctly feminine. I got 2 of the BDES series (006, 004) and this applies to both.

I can't speak for those lacking a Y chromosome, but I guess it's fine. I don't like the clasp and it doesn't have much heft, so it won't rotate downward as you cock your head. That's all.

ordered these earrings to be the 3rd in the series of piercings in my ears. They are very nice but a bit smaller than I expected. Had a hard time getting them on because of my "fat" ear lobe. But, did go on and they are fine!
