5.0 out of 5 stars Tucker is Terrific, January 10, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Tucker Flips! (Hardcover)
My 3 year old boy and 1 year old girl love this book about a cute little white puppy who is more adventurous than his two brothers! the drawings are amazingly cute and unique and the book is written right at kid-level. my son learned to "read" it in just one sitting, it appealed to him so much! the story is about a real dog, and the writer clearly loves and respects animals and kids. excellent!

This review is from: Tucker Flips! (Hardcover)
This is a wonderful, creative book for young children that promotes imagination and lots of giggles. The illustrations are most appealing to a child as they are simple and colorful. As a teacher of young, special needs children,I have read this book to my students. It delighted everyone and held their attention. It is a book that will become a family favorite and will be read many times. Adults will smile while reading it to children.

5.0 out of 5 stars We Flipped for Tucker, January 27, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Tucker Flips! (Hardcover)
My high energy children ages 5 and 2 loved this little tale about the adventurous fun loving Tucker. Rarely do I find a book at this age level that so captures their undivided attention. They giggle at Tucker's escapades and delight in the fact that he loves to have fun as much as they do. When you read this book over and over like we do, you will also have a good time picking out the humor in McGuirk's illustrations. In text and illustration, this is a book full of life and fun.

4.0 out of 5 stars Tucker Flips book review - The nickname I use for the net is StoryMaker, September 6, 2005
A Kid's Review
This review is from: Tucker Flips! (Hardcover)
First of all, we don't own this book but we check it out from the library a lot. Second, this is a great book. Me and my sisters (my sisters' internet nicknames are Russian Blue Witch who is older then me and Chocolate Dog who is younger then me) have gotten pretty much too old for it. I'm in the 1 digit big kids age range witch is 7 years to 9 years and C Dog is in the cute little kids age range and it's not that little, about 4 years to 7 years, and RBW is in the big kids age range witch is 10 years to 17 years but we still like it. NOTE: Next birthday, we might break out of our age ranges, but RBW will stay in her age range for many more years. But, if this review was made a year ago the day you're viewing it, you can't trust it anymore. Well, I'm not sure if RBW likes it too much, but I think she likes it a little but me and Chocolate Dog like it more. Well, it's about 3 white puppies and it's cute. Third, there's one page that says, "She showed them how to make the snow yellow." You know how you make the snow yellow? You do something that you might think is inapropreate. We think it's silly. We think things like that are silly, but my mom who's amazon.com user name is JaneLovesJesus tells us to stop it. Signed, StoryMaker. "Gotta trust the kid's review!"
