Excellent- sure to be a classic,

This review is from: Tucker's Tale (Paperback)
What a wonderful book. A true story about the authors rescued Cocker Spaniel, and told through the dogs eyes- show children and adults alike that even when a favorite pet passes, it doesnt mean the end of the road. Tastefully done illustrations and a wonderful read. Cetainly a must for anyone to have on their shelf. Also, I see all proceeds from the author and illustrator go to support animal rescues. A wonderful way to donate!

Excellent Book!,

This is one book all parents should have to help their child (or anyone)address the difficult issues associated with loss. Tastefully written with eye-catching illustrations, "Tucker's Tale" is sure to become a favorite.
As a former lieracy educator and also social worker, I highly recommend this poignant story. Although it is suggested here for children who are a bit older, the story could be effectively used with all ages. I had the opportunity to meet the author, and he explained that this was his first book. I was very surprised. Should Christopher and Vanda continue to collaborate, I can envision future nominations for Caldecott and Newberry Awards for this author/illustrator team!

Dogs And Spirituality,

This review is from: Tucker's Tale (Paperback)
Being the illustrator of the book, I was obviously taken by the beautiful story which is so rich in symbolic spiritual meaning on so many levels, while still reaching both adults and children. A respect for all life is the powerful message of this book. My hat goes off to author Christopher Walsh for this exceptional story.

Tucker's Tale,
This review is from: Tucker's Tale (Paperback)
This is a wonderful book, based on the true story of an abandoned dog rescued by the author. It is a story of warmth, love and humanity, which will bring both smiles and tears to all who read it, and also encourage children to understand the rewards a little kindness can bring.

Not just for children, this book is for anyone that has ever loved and lost a pet- an excellent way for anyone to donate a few bucks to rescue and get something in return.
