The Same Product, But At High prices,

This review is from: Tucks Medicated Witch Hazel Hemorrhoidal Pads, 100-Count Pads (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
Everyone who uses these pads knows they've been around for many years. They're sold in various count plastic containers, and are moistened with witch hazel, water and other ingredients. These round pads are sturdy, measuring about 3" in diameter.
And so while they do the job, my concern is with the price. While products on Amazon are usually very competitively priced, those I find listed recently are awfully expensive, well over $6/100 even when buying multiple amounts. Closer to $7 with a single 100-count container. I find the "store-brand" products sold by large drug store chains like Rite-Aid are every bit as good as Tucks, and they come in the identical durable plastic containers etc. The difference is in price. Their Hemorrhoidal Medicated Pads with Witch Hazel are $4.00 generally, and sometimes on sale at even lower prices. At nearly 175% the price of store-brands, I can't think of a reason to buy Tucks. (And by the way, I find Tucks' prices about as high at brick and mortar pharmacies as well, so I'm not singling out amazon for their prices). Why pay so much more?

Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
If you are looking at this product, you probably already know the intended use. However, these pads contains nothing except witch hazel, which is an excellent facial astringent. I have oily skin, and use these to wipe over my face in the morning and at bed time. My husband likes to wipe his face with them after he shaves.
I deducted a star because the pads are rather small. They are plenty big enough for my face, but a little small for "other" areas. If they were rectangular and the size of an average baby wipe, they would be perfect.

HEALS ZITS!,
This review is from: Tucks Medicated Witch Hazel Hemorrhoidal Pads, 100-Count Pads (Pack of 3) (Health and Beauty)
Customer review from the Amazon Vine™ Program (What's this?)
No really! It does! The witch hazel is effective in soothing irritated skin and inflammation due to popped or burst whiteheads or pimples. That would make sense since it's designed to do much the same for the other end.
I probably went through an entire container of Tuck's Medicated pads shortly after giving birth to my daughter. It was the only thing that gave immediate relief. I still have to resort to it from time to time when I don't follow some of the tips included in AJRyan's review. A single tub lasts you a long time (unless subjected to heavy use like right after pregnancy). I can highly recommend it.
