I first discovered Paulinho after watching the movie Woman On Top, his songs completely made the moviem, adding a key flavor to the mix. I immediately had to find out who sang "Nos Bracos De Isabel" and so began my love of new Bossa Nova from Brazil. Paulinho is an interesting artist, especially on this album and Mobile. He is like the Brazilian version of David Gray, he mixes organic sounds such as Bossa Nova and Folk with electronic synths. It is a great pairing, as it turns out, and Paulinho Moska deserves a lot more success outside of his native country...

This is a great CD... I like other Brasilian Rock groups like Tribalistas, Captial Inicial, etc. but hadn't heard of Paulinho until I saw a recommendation on a Jarabe de Palo's website (a cool Spanish band - check them out, too!). If you like the style of Jarabe de Palo, or just like cool "chill" music, you'll love this! :)

He is very talented but the music on this CD was not (to me) as good as the music on the sountrack "Woman on Top" in which he was FANTASTIC! He has a great voice but the material was not that entertaining. I have not played it since I listened to it the first time. I have however listened to him on the soundtrack "Woman on Top" many times and enjoyed his performances on the various tracks he performed very much.
