I do have a couple of complaints: too much black ink on some pages - pictures are back to back. I would have welcomed more info on color choices that would have been available during that period.
For the price, Dover Publications has done a wonderful job putting together Mr. Tierney's work. I do recommend his other collections, published by Dover Publications.
I am venturing into a new medium, colored pencils. These are great to help me to learn shading techniques while having a little fun.
They also have helped to visualize what my ancestors might have dressed in.
One more note, I bought these to work with a family member suffering from dementia/AD. She really enjoyed them as well.
