After enjoying Amanda Marshalls debut I thought I'd give `Tuesday's Child' a go and I have to say it as good, if not better than I'd hoped.
Album opener `Believe in You' is very much like the style from the self titled debut, but other songs have a more rocky feel to them and the one most like this, and my absolute favourite is `Out of Bounds'. This has a gentle guitar intro, before her husky voice joins and then the drums and rest of the band kick in for the chorus that I can't help but bellow along with. Simply superb stuff. This track is even added to my all time favourite tracks playlist on my ipod, its that good.
If you are a fan of Sheryl Crow, or female singer songwriters in general then give this a go and if you have tried her debut and are wondering if this is worth a try, then hesitate no more as this is an album of emotion and at times power that I still adore even after all these years. Worth it for `Out of Bounds' alone!
