I have owned this product for just over a month now. This is my first pocket holster so I wasn't sure what to expect. I carry a Taurus 85 (very similar to the J-Frame) which is quite heavy compared to today's ultra super feather weight revolvers. So far this holster has exceeded my expectations. It breaks up the main body of the revolver fairly well. The only thing you have to really worry about printing is the grip. It fits in the front pocket of my Lee's loose fit straight leg and boot cut jeans as well as my Lee's cargo shorts. I have used it in my Docker's straight leg khaki's and found that the grip seems to print more than in my jeans. I think it has to do with the difference in the pocket design.

I originally purchased this primarily to use for summer carry in cargo shorts when strapping my Glock to my waist was impractical. But, I have used it to carry my Taurus as a back up several times this winter. I love the fact that it carries extra ammo with the firearm. All you have to do is grab the holster and stuff everything in one pocket, no ammo carriers to worry about. When practicing drawing my snubbie, the holster has stayed in place 99% of the time. It has come out with the gun on occasion.

The material and stitching seem to be durable. The outer surface has a rough texture to it which helps keep the holster in place while the inside is smooth. I carry extra ammo in Bianchi Speed Strip which fits well in the ammo pouch. If I ever wear this holster out I will definitely buy another one.

Overall, this is a great holster. If you are in the market for a pocket holster I highly recommend giving this little holster a try. At around $25.00 you almost can't go wrong.

Pros - Size 10 fits small frame revolvers well and holds one reload strip with the weapon - securely. Well made.

Cons - Base/bottom is too wide for most of my pants: khaki's, jeans (lose fit), dress and casual pants. It only fits some of my cargo pants/shorts. Fit causes a large print on my pockets. I'm a man of medium build and above average height.

Other thoughts -
Before ordering, measure across the bottom of several of your pants' pockets and compare that to bottom/base width for model of interest to ascertain fit.

For others, this model may work well - Y. M. W. V.

Model w/o ammo strip tab/slot is probably better for my need, I may try that.

Not a total loss, I gave it to a friend for a purse carry. Very good for that purpose - keeps the weapon well positioned for quick access, keeps detritus out of the weapon, and easy to put in/out of purses. For a purse carry I would rate the product 5 stars. Perhaps it should be marketed that way, ... hint.

Not good for my pockets - hence 2 stars.

Free shipping and delivery time - good.

Works for me. I agree with the advice of other reviewers to be sure your pants have pockets that fit the holster. In my case, I found a few kinds of pants that fit the holster and are acceptable where I work (Propper lightweight tactical pants and Vertx tactical pants) and that's all I've bought in the last ~3 years). When I have to dress up and can't use cargo pants, I use a different holster.

Speed strip plus revolver in one pocketable package. Great idea. Speed strip should even keep holster from coming out of pocket along with revolver, if drawing hastily. Reality: only fits in clown pockets. Just too dang wide at the bottom. Eagerly awaiting their second try..

I use these to carry a j frame in my front pocket of many of my shorts. It is a quick draw and breaks up the outline very well.

works well. gets more flexible with time -- not a great thing for reholstering. it remains quite good about staying behind in the pocket when the revolver is drawn.
