I purchased this blanket long before BRU started selling it. This waterproof blanket is great to keep in the car. We use it all the time at the park, beach, camping, wherever you need a clean place to sit outdoors. This blanket may cost more than others, but it's worth it because it has polyester batting for a cushiony feel. Also, the carrying case allows the blanket to "breathe" so it dries properly, unlike other waterproof blankets that fold and zip up into their own bag. As long as you follow the folding instructions to place this blanket into the carrier, this blanket will not develop a musty smell. The instructions are easy enough. I've searched and there is no better waterproof blanket for baby's recreation out there.

I bought this same blanket but in pink 5 years ago for my last baby. It did everything it promised when I first got it and would have recommended it to everyone. It was wonderful for about 2 years, never let water through even on wet soccer fields. Then slowly notice it would be damp on the top. Just last month took it to the park and it seemed to draw the moisture from the dirt under the dry grass up. We gave up on the blanket and started sitting on a doubled up beach towels instead, which kept us dry! I wrote to Tuffo and was told that the blankets start loosing their water resistance at about 3 years. So if you are interested in a $40 blanket that is good for 3 years or less, then this is the blanket for you. Otherwise, I would recommend looking into another brand. Which is exactly what I am in the process of doing now.

I thought this blanket was expensive, but was just what I was looking for, so I went ahead and bought it. With a crawling baby and a 4 1/2 year old who loves the beach, we are getting lots of use from this blanket. It is durable, comfortable and easy to wash. I highly recc. this product for people with kids!

The blanket is great and does exactly as described. Nothing sticks to it and it is easy to wipe off. It is soft and comfortable. It comes with a convenient carrying "Sleeve" so you can easily fold up the blanket, shove it in the sleeve (and you don't have to be exact on the folding which is GREAT!!), throw it over your shoulder so you have your hands free to hold baby, beach toys, cooler, etc. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PRODUCT !!

This does't say waterPROOF, it says waterRESISTANT. And that it is. I love mine and it is easy to fold and put back in its carrier. I carry a lot of stuff around and this slings right over my shoulder. I use it at the beach and at the park. I keep it in my car. Unfortunately, I paid $49.99 from TUFFO.com and luckily, you can get it here for less! I recommend this. My family and I lead a very active lifestyle and this is always around and being used and washed over and over again and it still holds up. I have had it about a year or more, now. Hope this helps.

I bought this blanket for our recent vacation to San Diego. It was perfect, compact and light enough to take back and forth to the beach. Good size for my husband, 2 yr old and myself. Would recommend to anyone looking for something to take to the beach or park.

This is a great blanket. We enjoy it everywhere. It is lightweight. I love that it doesn't take up a lot of room in the car. It's not heavy to carry so the kids can help carry it b/c it folds up like a handle bag; then they can also help fold it up when we're done. It is waterproof and it's a great size. Often times, we picnic with friends so we've had at least 7 people on it. It also has an added bonus of having a beautiful design. I love the satin bottom b/c you can just dust/shake off the sand at the beach, it won't stick to it. Also great for those soccer mornings when the grass is wet and the kids need somewhere to sit. Yes, it does fly away easy but if you put your picnic basket/backpack on it, it's fine. I'd rather preffer lightweight vs something heavy and bulky to carry around. But I've not experienced the slippery effect. I haven't had it on the deck, though. Another added bonus is that it pops in the wash great. Can't say that for those big plastic bulky ones that you have to scour to wipe off, and yes, I've had both. Our last one was the pink JJ Cole. Love this one much more, I get so many compliments and q's about where I got it. We've had it for 2yrs now, and still going strong.

We just LOVE this Tuffo Blanket for sitting on the damp lawn outside to keep our bums dry, or for picnics to put on the icky table to keep germs away from hands & food. It's easy to bring along anywhere with it's carrying pack & keeps us dry & clean. Speaking of clean, it washes GREAT, too. HIGHLY recommended!!!

I bought this at a baby convention, and think it is great. I have used it at my home outside to play on, and at the beach. It does not absorb the wet from the sand and folds up nice. Just wish I did not have to keep up with the pouch, wish it folded into it's own bag. Can't wait to use it on vacation!

Excellent, very well-made water-resistant blanket. Cushy, easy-to-wash, and pretty design...Love the carrying case. we use it at kids' baseball games, the park, beach, etc.
