The Ultimate Ring is tough and long lasting, Use interactively with one or multiple dogs. It can be used as a Frisbee or a tug toy. Great for flyball training -- soft edges won't hurt gums. And Floats!! Ultimate Construction: Each toy is made with 4 layers. 2 layers are made of industrial grade luggage material, 1 layer of plastic coating, and the other layer is made of soft fleece on the outside. All of these layers are sewn together to make one super strong layer of material. Each toy is sewn together with 2 layers of cross stitching and then 2 layers of linear stitching. After the toy is sewn together an additional piece of black trim is added to cover the four rows of stitching. This extra piece of black trim is sewn with 3 linear stitches to give the product a total of 7 seams! These toys are machine washable (air dry) and float.

The first one I bought I was really excited about. I spent $25 on it in a retail store. Within a couple day, my Boarder Collie & Lab had started pulling the fabric apart and getting at the stitches. It was destroyed. I finally decided to get a second one on Amazon (cheaper) and realized this time that this is NOT a chew toy. It's a toy to be played with between you and your dog and then put away. Great toy if you go into it knowing this. Its great to be able to throw in the house and not worry about breaking something.

Our 85 lb. dog destroys pretty much any squeeker toy put in front of him. This is the only toy that has ever made in past a few days. We have had this ring for almost a year and do not even have a ripped seam. It is incredibly durable. There are three or four squeekers inside, but only one is still functional. The rest of the toy has survived fantastically. Highly recommend this toy for dogs who chew a lot.

My corgi loves tearing toys apart, ripping out all fluff, and chewing up squeakers. He is on his second Ultimate Rumble Ring, and loves these toys! The first one lasted a couple of months before being completely destroyed, the second is around a month old and he just managed to tear it open.

The weakness is the point where the outer seam is joined. My dog works on this point until he rips through, and then manages to tear through the seams underneath.

For dogs who are really tough on their toys, this won't last forever, but it will certainly last longer than any other plush dog toy I've found.
