The first one I bought I was really excited about. I spent $25 on it in a retail store. Within a couple day, my Boarder Collie & Lab had started pulling the fabric apart and getting at the stitches. It was destroyed. I finally decided to get a second one on Amazon (cheaper) and realized this time that this is NOT a chew toy. It's a toy to be played with between you and your dog and then put away. Great toy if you go into it knowing this. Its great to be able to throw in the house and not worry about breaking something.

Our 85 lb. dog destroys pretty much any squeeker toy put in front of him. This is the only toy that has ever made in past a few days. We have had this ring for almost a year and do not even have a ripped seam. It is incredibly durable. There are three or four squeekers inside, but only one is still functional. The rest of the toy has survived fantastically. Highly recommend this toy for dogs who chew a lot.

My corgi loves tearing toys apart, ripping out all fluff, and chewing up squeakers. He is on his second Ultimate Rumble Ring, and loves these toys! The first one lasted a couple of months before being completely destroyed, the second is around a month old and he just managed to tear it open.

The weakness is the point where the outer seam is joined. My dog works on this point until he rips through, and then manages to tear through the seams underneath.

For dogs who are really tough on their toys, this won't last forever, but it will certainly last longer than any other plush dog toy I've found.

I have a 13 month old Airedale Terrier. She ripped holes in this product and pulled out the stuffing in about thirty minutes.

Hi, I am a very large yellow lab and I love to chew. My owners are constantly on the lookout for "indestructible" toys for me. I have to say that I love the Rumble Rings. At first I was a little hesitant about the squeekers but soon found great enjoyment tearing out the noise-makers. I have to give the manufacturer credit, it did take me several days to get through all the layers. Even after all that fun, the toy continues to hold together, albeit in a rag doll sort of way, giving me some additional chew time.

My owners would like to remind everyone to always monitor your dogs with a new toy to insure we are not harmed by any of the toy's pieces. If I begin to tear a toy into kibble size chunks, they take it away to keep me from swallowing them. I have to admit, as much as I enjoyed chewing the Rumble Rings, I did not much care for the stuff on the inside, yuck!

I have a 50lb black lab and the Tuffy toys are the absolute best! Abby is a big chewer and has a tendency to tear through toys extremely quickly (she has been known to chew through a rope in about 15 minutes). We have bought several of the Tuffy Ultimate toys and they all have lasted her at least 6 weeks - a very long time for her! She absolutely loves them all. This ring is her favorite. She carries it everywhere and gets really mopy when she tears through it and we have to take it away. Buying from amazon is definitely the way to go too - almost half the price of buying them at our local pet store.

It took my 20 pound, 7 month old beagle puppy under 10 minutes to destroy this toy. He instantly went right for the seam and was able to lift and tear it off. He did seem to love this tough but after he ripped off the seam and began to eat it, I had to take it away.

I have a 18 month old Husky, and he typically destroys all his stuffed toys within hours. I thought that this would outlast the others by months, based on other reader reviews. Unfortunately, he found the ring toy's weakness... the stitching! He managed to pull apart the stitching on one side and ripped out all the cotton within 2 hour of playing with it. I still have yet to find a toy that he can not break through. He does still like to play with it even though it is no longer stuffed.

We purchased this item at Best Buy for our 9 month old 50 lb mutt. She is great but a heck of a chewer. From the reviews, we thought this might be the one. Not so! Within in 30 minutes she chewed off most of the black trim tape on the outside edge and had the stuffing out.

As an aside, we were at Kohl's and they had some large soft stuffed green birds on sale for $2.50. We bought one and that was several weeks ago. It is still going strong. I figured it doesn't have a squeaker she is trying to get too. The wife sent me back to get four more - best deal yet. Grace (dog) throws it up and chases it but hasn't chewed the first thing off the toy.

I have two large dogs who love to play with toys. Unfortunately, most toys I purchase only last an hour or two before they have been chewed up, pulled apart, or destroyed in some manner by them. The Tuffies Ring is beaten up now, but it has been several weeks since I purchased it and is still usable and enjoyed by my pets. Most indestructable dog toys such as the Kong do not interest my dogs and they remain in their toy box untouched. They love things that "squeak" and ones they can shake and play with. This ring can be used as a fetch toy and I hope to see more products from Tuffies.
