I got this since I saw it recommended on a number of training sites as my dog would tug, but not as vigourously as my other Border Collie. It is messy, difficult to clean and he as well as other dogs I tried it with, was more interested in gnawing on it than tugging with it. This did nothing to increase his tug drive and I eventually got him to vigourously tug a Kong Frisbee as a reward rather than a fleece tug (which was my original intent when buying this product).
