The book is fun - note that it's not as easy for a tot (mine is 22 mths) to turn these pages as some board books, however. The pictures are very funny, and politically correct, with female deckhands etc, but the more prissy among us may shrink from explaining that 'here she's sitting on the toilet and in this picture, she's head down inside it!' I'm trying to imagine my father reading this to her...great sense of humor, but he dislikes lavatorial stuff.

The little details in the right-hand illustrations are great, and a few objects from them are also shown in much bigger size on the left hand, which is a nice idea. My kid loves ducks, so she is quick to focus on those!

This is one of the best board books ever for all ages. It's not much of a story, but the pictures are fabulous. My kids from ages 11 down to 2, love looking at the details in this book. There are some very comical situations displayed in this book! Ours is so tattered I think we need to buy another!

Great pictures, lots of action. Even you won't get tired of reading this one over and over, you will discover something new everytime you little one wants to read it! Lots of fun!
