PLEASE STOCK THIS BOOK ON AMAZON.COM as I would love to get it! Can't find anywhere...I first came across Judith Leyster's Tulip illustrations in another fantastic book - "Tulipomania" by Mike Dash [Non-Fiction/History, INDIGO is the Publisher of this one]. The Tulip illustrations are of coveted flowers - the tulips - which were craved for during the Golden Age in Holland. There are only references to 3 tulip varieties in this book from Judith Leyster's book of illustrations (as referenced) that is why the Judith Leyster book should be available. I think it will give the reader / observer a fascinating new look at the tulip. Today's tulips are beautiful, especially the "Parrot Tulip" varieties - absolutely stunning when in full bloom. I recommend everyone to plant these gorgeous flowers in your gardens!
