5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite
I love a bold, strong coffee without a bitter taste, and this has proven to be my favorite. Strong and flavorful, even the decaf version is excellent. My second favorites are Green Mountain's French Roast and Timothy's espresso blend, if that's any help. If you like strong coffee, definitely give this a try!

3.0 out of 5 stars Excellent coffee, price is too high
This is my favorite coffee - strong, delicious and bold. However, the price here is way too high, you can buy it much cheaper elsewhere. I usually buy it at Costco - 80 cups for $33.

5.0 out of 5 stars Strong and Smoky, December 28, 2008
This is, in my opinion, the best of the K-cup coffee choices, and we have tried them all ! I hope that they do not change the beans, the roasting or the amount of the coffee in the Tully's French roast K-cups...it approaches the best freshly ground brews.

5.0 out of 5 stars Consistent quality, our "main squeeze" brew, November 8, 2008

We've tried so many K cups, and we keep coming back to Tully's French Roast. It is great both black and with cream, and the flavor is always strong but never bitter. Sometimes I want even more of a bite than this offers, so then I'll reach for Timothy's Magic Mountain. But on the whole, if we could only buy one type of K cup for our Keurig, it would be this one.

5.0 out of 5 stars My Favorite Coffee - Strong, Bold, and Delicious!, February 14, 2010
Amazon Verified Purchase(What's this?)
I tried just about every kind of K-cup, looking for my perfect coffee. After trying, Tullys French Roast, I just started enjoying it and stopped looking. I wanted coffee that was dark, rich, bold, and enjoyable. This did it for me. I recommend it.

EDITED to say that Tully's Kona coffee is great as well. Which is my favorite now? I'm not sure. Both are delicious!

EDITED once more months later to say that my favorites are now:

1) Italian
2) French
3) House
4) Kona if I want something with a very strong taste.

If you truly like a bold "coffee" flavor, and not all the hybrids like mixing in vanilla or nuts, then this is for you. We love it.

I really enjoyed the great strong taste of this blend, but when I went to reorder it the price jumped up! What's up Amazon? Please make this blend more affordable again!!

5.0 out of 5 stars My favorite, September 20, 2010
I have tried many K-cups and as a matter of fact I almost gave up on the Keurig brewer until I found this brand and roast. But, having said that, I wish Amazon would give us a better price break. With the buying power you have you could at least come close to Costco's price. 80 cups $33.00. Come on Amazon!

I love the convenience of the K-Cup coffee maker. Tully's French Roast is a nice coffee, and tastes the same as when you get in their shops. The only problem is that Tully's French Roast is often out of stock when I need to order more. I have one wish, and that is that they would offer Peet's coffee in K-Cups

1.0 out of 5 stars More Like Fish Roast not French Roast, October 20, 2011
By
I had never tried Tully's before and got this in a variety pack. I like a variety of coffees depending on the time of day. I like an extra bold cup or two in the morning...Newman's Own and Emeril's are good as is Coffe People's extra bold blends. But this was just plain nasty. It smelled and tasted like fish. Sorry but I've smelled and drank French Roasts before and am familiar with the smokey taste, but this was something else again. The expiration date was next year, perhaps they have changed the recipe. At any rate I threw the remaing few out. Sorry Tully's. Oh, and no it's not my water or brewer as my other coffees taste fine.
