Well Constructed, Stylish, just the right size for me, July 28, 2010
The wallet is well stitched, made of high quality leather, and arrived unblemished in any way. It is as it is named - slim. There are three card pockets on left, three more on the right, a bill area, and a space behind each set of 3 pockets (between the pockets and the bill area. There are no additional "frills" (frills for me anyway) that would make the wallet wider.
The card pockets hold six (6) plastic cards securely. I keep my most used cards in the two slightly cut away bottom pockets, where they are a breeze to remove and replace. The two top pockets are almost as easy to use, and the two middle pockets are acceptable. None of the pockets is overly tight, loose, or hard to use, at least not for the plastic cards that I keep in them. I keep two more rarely used plastic cards and a few (thin) paper cards in the two additional compartments.
The room for bills is adequate but not ample. At times, the wallet had held a fair number of small bills, and I have not had the problem that one reviewer reported. It was still easy to find the denomination I needed or insert bills completely. Occasionally, it is awkward to insert a bill in the middle, and I sometimes put bills in at the end and sort by denomination in private later.
All things considered, this wallet is a durable, well constructed, and stylish product, and it is as minimal as my life style permits.

Quality wallet at a nice price, December 28, 2009
The wallet is very nicely stitched together and the leather feels soft and pliable. As described, the wallet only has a single billfold and the width is narrow such that your dollar bills show their edges when the wallet is closed. I wish the wallet was a quarter-inch wider and the credit pockets slightly wider. It is difficult to insert and extract credit cards from the six pockets. Each pocket can store a maximum of threee credit cards with effort. If you do not carry a lot of bills, credit cards in your wallet, this is a nice wallet for you because it is slim.

Great Walet at a Price, April 5, 2010
This review is from: Tumi Monaco Slim Single Billfold (Apparel)
This wallet is the smallest functional wallet, it closes really thin and is not as wide as others. Unlike the other reviewer I find that the bills go in all the way though, with out hanging out. The Cards fit nice and firm, how ever leather appears like it will stretch a bit over time, but you defiantly don't want to have more than 6 cards in it. Another thing to note is that this wallet is not very good for you SS card as it is too tight for the flimsy peace of paper. The outside of the wallet is sturdy leather with a pattern, i was a little bit disappointed with the feel of it though (feels a bit tough). The 1st CC slots on each side are a bit bigger for easy reach of your most used card and ID. I really like the pattern of the cloth inside the wallet it somewhat reminds me of Versachi pattern. Also there is a "hidden" pocket behind the left CC slots which is great to to put a check or anything small... There was a slight defect in the leather when it came in, which also lowered my excitement about this wallet. It comes in nice box - so may be a good gift. Over all quality is high and I would recommend this wallet if you are not a CC hoarder and having a small wallet is the top priority - this is the smallest unlest you want to go with a money clip.
