A bit utilitarian,

First off, remember that I'm only reviewing this single CHAPTER, not the series as a whole. I've also only purchased (and read) the first 5 chapters.....so I've a bit left to go yet. This chapter didn't hit me as intensely as the first 2 chapters did, and the art seems a bit lackluster in this one....but overall this chapter serves to move the series along in a meaningful way. This chapter really deserves 3.5 stars, but that's not possible.

If you read my reviews of Chapters 1 and 2 of Tumor, you will notice that I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Chapter 2. Chapter 3 did not have the same impact on me as the previous chapter, but it brought to light and clarified an important plot point. I continue to love the story , art style and the series overall. My only criticisms of Chapter 3 are that it was light on what I feel is the defining aspect of the series and what makes it entertaining: the time shifting, and it seemed like the story was drawn out to fill the issue and end at a particular event as opposed the chapter ending organically. In any event, I will continue to buy the series and am looking forward to Chapter 4. If you are not reading Tumor, you are missing out.
