This review is from: Tumors of the Soft Tissues (Hardcover)
This book is written by one of the leaders in the field of soft tissue sarcomas, Dr. T.K. DasGupta from the University of Illinois in Chicago. It is written not only as a superb reference text, but full of examples from former patients of Dr. DasGupta. I've found this text to be one of the most useful references on the market for the management of soft tissue tumors. Thorough chapters on the biology and molecular biology of sarcomas, the histology, and the surgical, chemotherapeutic, and radiation treatment of sarcomas is discussed. Individual chapters on each of the various cell types takes one though the benign to malignant variants of the soft tissue tumors. This book truly belongs in every surgical oncologist's bookshelf, and will quickly be well worn with the busy practicing surgeon.
